Budget Advisory Committee
Committee Description:
The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) acts as an group to the president of staff council during the annual budget process. The BAC provides feedback to the staff council members of Strategic Resource Allocation Committee (SRAC), who in turn discuss them with the SRAC committee. Additionally, the BAC provides updates to council throughout the process and hosts an annual budget update to the university community at the conclusion of the SRAC process.

Monday, November 19th - Review tuition projections
Monday, December 3rd - Review proposed new initiatives
Friday, December 7th - Deliberations and university budget proposals
Thursday, December 13th - SRAC votes to recommend a budget to the President
January TBD - Annual university budget update meeting
* Provide year round updates to council on the university's finances
* Expand role of the BAC to include other committees involved in the university's financial health (eg Tuition Pricing, Campus Master Planning)
* Continue to play a key role in the SRAC process by analyzing issues that affect staff and the overall university
