Re-Election Personal Statement (2007):
I have been part of the DePaul community since 1994. From 94-99, I was a student and received my BS and MS. Upon graduation, I accepted a full-time position in Information Services. In 2000, I moved from Information Services to Instructional Technology Development. During the recent reorganization, my department was moved back to Information Services. Since I’ve been in multiple departments, I understand the impact of organizational changes. I have served on Staff Council for the last five years, and served as Secretary for four years. I am running for another term on Council because I believe that the needs and concerns of staff must be heard. Council works closely with the administration to ensure that DePaul staff are actively involved in University governance. The Council’s involvement in critical administrative appointments and decisions ensures that the needs of staff are met. If re-elected I will continue to be a dedicated representative for all staff at DePaul.
