Election Personal Statement (2008):
I joined the DePaul University Community in 2001, working for five years in Teaching and Learning Resources (Library, Art Museum, and ITD [now IDD]) and currently in Facility Operations. I have had the privilege of knowing many of the current and past Staff Council members, and recognize them as a group of dedicated individuals working in giving staff a voice in the administration and operation of DePaul. They have inspired me to do the same, and I see this as an opportunity to work alongside them in addressing the many issues and concerns that impact DePaul staff. I would represent the issues that affect us as staff and would utilize my experience with very different areas of the university to provide the view point of staff from both the academic and the administrative sides.
