Re-election Personal Statement (2008):
I began working at DePaul as a student employee in 1992, was hired part-time in 1995 and full time in 1996. I have had several positions during my time at DePaul including being Faculty Secretary, Secretary to the Associate Dean, Academic Advisor, PeopleSoft SME, Certification Officer, Degree Coordinator, and Academic Advising Coordinator.

I have been on Staff Council for the last four years and it has been such a worthwhile and enjoyable experience that I would like to continue representing the staff at DePaul. I enjoy serving on Staff Council so that I can be involved and influential in university governance. I enjoy the diversity and knowledge that can be gained by working with individuals with different viewpoints and backgrounds. As DePaul grows larger, communication among staff within the university becomes even more essential. I revised the Staff Council website so that it may be better used as a communication tool. I hope to bring to Staff Council my varied experience as a staff member as well as the knowledge I have gained working here for the last 12 years as a full time employee.
