Re-Election Personal Statement (2008):
Working at DePaul University for 17 years in the Information Services Group and serving on the Staff Resources committee for 6 years makes me well aware of the benefits of the work place. I’ve attended 85% of the Staff Council meetings. And I sit on the 403B committee also looking out for staff retirement plans. Attending those meetings at an 85% or better attendance rate. Being one of the few hourly and non-managers on Staff Council, I will continue to look out for staff, but also have the hourly non-exempt worker in my focus. Benefits is a major focus for me and the staff I represent. I would like to continue looking out for staff and my benefits too. Thanks, Peter Teel. |
