Election Personal Statement (2007):
An opportunity to serve, represent, and advocate for the DePaul staff – whom I work, server, and learn with and from – drives my desire to represent YOU on Staff Council. I am part of an incredible support staff in the Office of Advancement. During my DePaul career I have worked on the Loop and Lincoln Park campuses supporting the Rinn Law Library, Center for Black Diaspora, and the African and Black Diaspora Studies program. My community involvement includes a wide variety of advocacy and service projects. I am honored to have participated in the 2006 Vincentian Heritage Tour, an experience which reinforced the values that underpin the goals I plan to achieve should I be elected to represent YOU on Staff Council.
