Ensures the timely communication of Staff Council through online and print publications made available to the university community.

Diversity
Advises and collaborates with key university departments, such as, University Mission & Values and the Office of Institutional Diversity on topics related to staff diversity, inclusion, culture and environment.

Effectiveness
Identifies opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness by evaluating Council performance.

Fiscal Planning Advisory
A dvises the President of Staff Council as he/she participates in University fiscal planning processes and committees.

Membership and Events
Facilitates all internal functions of the Staff Council, providing leadership, coordination, and organization for all related events/activities.

Staff Resources
Examines staff human resource issues including but not limited to, benefits and compensation, recruitment, orientation, public safety and more, while making appropriate recommendations to both the council and to the university's Human Resources Department.

Steering
Comprised of the chairs of each committee, standing group or task force, the steering committee discusses issues impacting university staff and formulates the monthly council meeting agendas.
