Staff Council is committed to helping provide all staff with information and access to resources and to listening and responding to staff issues, concerns and ideas.

Voice of Staff is an open forum during monthly Staff Council meetings when staff may raise issues, pose questions, and put forward topics for discussion. Voice of Staff topics may either be submitted in advance via the web or presented at the monthly meetings.

How does Voice of Staff web submission work?
All full and part time staff members may submit inquiries on the Staff Council web page. All issues submitted for Voice of Staff through the website will be anonymous unless you choose to leave your name and email. Please be as detailed as you can in describing your issue.

Issues may also be sent directly to staffcouncil@depaul.edu, although the nature of email does not allow this to be an anonymous submission.

Submissions are collected by the Communication Committee of Staff Council and delegated to Staff Council members for follow up. Responses are posted on the Staff Council website in a timely manner.

Issues and responses submitted through the web or email will be summarized at council meetings; multiple submissions about the same or similar topic may be added to the council agenda for a lengthier

discussion.

Each submission will be thoroughly researched with regard to university policy, procedures and other appropriate guidelines. Where possible, a university office or contact will be listed in responses for further follow up or clarification.

Because submissions to the Voice of Staff are anonymous, Staff Council will not contact you directly in response to your Voice of Staff issue unless you choose to provide your name or contact information. Unless directed otherwise, all submissions may be posted on the staff Council website, however all posted submissions will remain anonymous.
