I enjoyed our Faculty/ Staff picnic this summer! Will there be more events to connect our faculty and staff but also to encourage more interactions between the Lincoln Park and Loop faculty and staff?

Response: Each year there is a gathering for all faculty and staff who are members of the 25 year club, and for all faculty and staff who are celebrating notable anniversaries of service to the university. Also, the annual Fall Academic Convocation is designed to bring together faculty and staff from across the university. Beginning this year, the university will sponsor a Christmas concert at St. Vincent de Paul Church on the Lincoln Park Campus with a reception to follow in the Student Center for all members of the university community and their families. (Details for this new event will be announced soon). Also, occasionally the university offers special events such as last year’s kick-off for Vision twenty12 as opportunities for community building.
