March 2007 issue I received the following email about my Chicago Card Plus. I have tried contacting HR, but have not had a response. Have other staff had the same problem? If you could please investigate. Thanks! ---------------- Your employer has submitted a request to suspend your Chicago Card Plus account reloading through the RTA/CTA Transit Benefit Program. Your account is still active and your card will continue to work as long as your balance remains greater than $0 or you have an active 30-Day Pass. However, your card will not be reloaded with additional pre-tax dollars until the suspension is lifted. If you have any questions, please visit www.chicago-card.com or call 1-888-YOUR-CTA (1-888-968-7282), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Response Source: Jim Friend Response: CTA frequently sends out these notices to employees and they must be investigated individually. Sometimes they are sent out in error. Without knowing who the recipient of the e-mail is, it is impossible to investigate this particular e-mail further.
