How is the phase out of Project Connect affecting staff and their ability to hire student workers? I am concerned about staff who need students to cover hours, especially non-exempt staff, who may now not have help.

Response

The phasing out of Project Connect has generated almost no complaints or negative reactions thus far, other than requests for clarification about how the funding formula is affected. The elimination of these positions allows Enrollment Management to pursue a Financial Literacy and Planning effort for students that will have a much larger impact on potentially many thousands of DePaul students in the future.
